Plenty of NZ road sites have patchy coverage or none at all. TTM Control is built so your STMS can run the whole day's paperwork on their phone regardless, and it catches up with the office when the phone is back in range.

Saved on the phone, sent when there is signal
Everything the STMS fills in is saved on the phone first: crew inductions and signatures, the risk assessment, the onsite record, monitoring checks, TSL entries, TMP variations and quick notes. Each change joins a queue that uploads by itself once the phone finds a connection again.
Nobody has to remember to press a sync button, and a flat spot halfway through a shift does not mean starting a form again.
Photos
Site photos wait on the phone, not in a dead upload
Photos taken out of coverage are kept on the phone and sent with each sync until the office has them, so the TSL roundel or the variation you photographed at 6am still gets there. A retry after a dropped connection does not store the same photo twice.
Before you leave site
Close-out checks that do not need signal
When the STMS goes to finish the day, the app stops them if an induction is unsigned, a TSL has no removal recorded, or the yard time is missing. That check runs on the phone, so it works in a gully as well as in town.
Once the phone is back in range, the day review looks over the job again (crew not inducted, monitoring gaps, missing signatures and similar) and the office sees anything still open against the job. The finished job goes to the office and the STMS as a PDF by email.
